Had an Epiphany today.

People often say, “What God brings you out of, he often calls you back to.” Well, in my Junior year of High School, I lived in a Hotel for 8 months and now with Cru, I’m going back to the Oceanfront to live in a hotel for the next 10 weeks, but this time to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That statement had held its truth

Marriage

I think one of the huge problems with marriage in America is how early people get married. So many people get married before they fully know and understand themselves, then they marry someone with the same issue and all of a sudden you have two people who don’t understand themselves trying to become one and live with/understand each other. Now I’m not saying that young marriages can’t work, but I think they definitely attribute to divorce rates, which are almost 1 in 2 . Hate it or love it, my statement stands.

Fight for what you Love, who you Love and who loves you.

If I had to choose, I’d pick Academic All-American over Wrestling All-American every day of the week

Men often go to their work/their job for their identity, when ultimately they should go to their relationship with Jesus Christ for it

God working through you to draw someone closer to him is one of the greatest feelings ever

Note to self:

Refrain from pissing crazos off because it is way too easy to find someone’s address in America

I’ve grown up a lot over these past two years

P121

For me to live is Christ and to die is to gain

Because it’s better to live with the lamb who was slain,

Who bought me with a high price, and felt my pain,

Forgave my sin, and who forever shall reign.

Who loved me even before I was named.

Fought for my soul, and for my sin, took the blame.

Hung on a cross and died with my shame,

So that I could know life, not death and disdain.

And loved me first before his words I proclaimed.

That is why for me to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Will the way you’re living right now satisfy you for the rest of your life?

I love being home

Taking this idea from Mark Driscoll

As a single guy, I’m keeping a Journal for my future wife that will not only help me to stay pure, but prepare for marriage with her. Basically I’ll be writing letters to her, poetry, sketching, etc. etc. When I meet her in the future and become engaged, I’m going to give it to her and tell her, “I was committed to and loved you before I even knew you.”

I enjoy

going from the back of blogs to the front - it’s pretty cool to see where they came from and what they’re moving towards

Challenge

I challenge you, Men/Man of God, to be the ones that protect the purity of the woman in or who eventually comes into you life and not to be the one that challenges or takes it.

Man Up

You tell me that you want me to experience life, but in all reality it is you that has never truly experienced life
